Group Exchange Attendance Tips

During the Group Exchange you will be meeting one-on-one with tour operators and ski suppliers from all over the world; and if you have never attended the Group Exchange before, this experience can be a bit overwhelming. We would like to recommend a few items that can help make your on-site experience more enjoyable:
1)     Open Scheduling: Group Exchange begins with an open scheduling session held on Thursday afternoon, April 10, 2008. The open scheduling session allows you to add and change appointments on your schedule.
2)     Appointments: The Group Exchange appointments will be held all day Friday, April 11, 2008.
3)     Biography Sheet: As you will be meeting with industry reps, we strongly recommend each club/council bring a biography sheet that describes your club, or something similar. This will save you time by not having to describe your club and its trips to every person you meet. Approximately 50 copies are recommended. (See below for more details.)
4)     Appointment Request Form: Also be sure to bring your Appointment Request Form with you, which is the list of companies you selected to meet with. It is not possible for MTS to give everyone every appointment they request.  This will assist you in making any last-minute appointments that might have been missed.
5)     Business Cards: Bring 50-100 to exchange with suppliers as well as other club/council leaders you will meet through out the week.

Other suggested reference materials to bring include club newsletters or council directories.

If you have any questions regarding how Group Exchange works, contact Paul Webber at prw@prwsl.com.
