Sponsorship Opportunities
Businesses wishing to gain valuable exposure with and support the mountain destination tourism industry are invited to participate as a sponsor at Mountain Travel Symposium. A variety of opportunities are available, allowing for individual flexibility and creativity to address specific marketing goals and budgets. Sponsorships are offered for the entire MTS week or for specific events, including the Trade Exchange, the Forum and the Group Exchange. Please review the Sponsor and Exhibitor Options section below.
Visibility
Sponsors will be visible to more than 1,000 attendees involved in destination mountain travel worldwide. MTS events are carefully staged to increase the quality and quantity of exposure and thus vary commensurately with participation.
Timing is Everything
MTS is situated at the end of one season and the beginning of the next planning cycle (marketing/sales). Throughout the week sponsors have a window of opportunity to increase their visibility, deliver their message and impact attendees. This opportunity is a key strategic benefit of Symposium sponsorship.
Participation
MTS sponsorships are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Most sponsorship packages include a first right of refusal for the following year. A significant number of sponsors participate each year, making MTS a key element of their mountain destination travel and tourism strategy.
Sponsorship benefits include some of the following:
- Credit attributed to an event or events that are education or entertainment
based
- Promotional visibility before, during, and after sponsored event and throughout
MTS
- Website and promotional literature featuring sponsor before, during, and after
MTS
- Complimentary MTS registration for key staff, commensurate with sponsorship
- Display table and banner located in high-exposure area throughout MTS
- Pre-release of attendee mailing list for coordinated pre-promotion
- Inclusion of collateral marketing piece provided in attendee registration

BANNER SPONSORSHIP

FORUM
Forum Host
Gain exposure to more than 400 Forum registrants. “Feed the minds” of attendees as a sponsoring partner of a Forum general session or workshop track, including introductory comments at the beginning of the event.
Pricing: $5,000 - $20,000 USD. Value-priced, multi-year agreements available.
New Media Showcase
The newest feature of the Forum provides companies the opportunity to present their new mobile application or web service products to attendees. You will be given time to present your product or service during the Forum. The presentation will also include an introduction and Q&A session – total of about 10 minutes in length.
Pricing: $2,000 USD / $4,500 USD with Mountain Marketplace Package.
TRADE EXCHANGE
Trade Exchange Breakfast or Lunch
Become a breakfast or lunch sponsor for Trade Exchange tour operators or suppliers. Includes a welcome and featured presentation by the sponsor and plated meal. Food & beverage, AV, meeting room rental, MTS labor and administrative allocation, and the sponsorship fee are included.

Trade Exchange Tour Operator Booth Drops
Your opportunity to ensure the 130 +/- tour operator booths get your message. It could be a goodie, gift, or product/promotional literature (to be provided by company). Delivered to the booths prior to the start of the Trade Exchange or during the lunch break. Exclusive opportunity for one company.
Pricing: $1,000 USD.
Briefcase Exhibitor
Entry-level package designed for those who want exposure and access
to the participants of the Trade Exchange but do not wish to have a booth. Appointment track at the Trade Exchange is not included.
Pricing: $1,595 USD.
Mountain Marketplace
Formerly known as the Exhibit Hall, package includes:
- Exhibit booth during Trade Exchange and open scheduling session
- Co-hosting of the Trade Exchange Reception
- Inclusion on Mountain Marketplace webpage and directory
- Access to the Trade Exchange directory and ability to schedule appointments with participants
Pricing: $3,500 - $4,000 USD.
Trade Exchange Attendee Bags - Literature Inclusion
Your opportunity to place a brochure or literature product in tour operators or suppliers attendee bags. A maximum of 10 companies may participate. Literature must be provided by company. A single piece of literature or brochure - maximum size: 8 ½ x 11 in. may be included.)
Pricing: $500 USD (based on a minimum of three participating companies).
GROUP EXCHANGE
Group Leader Breakfast or Lunch
Become the exclusive breakfast or lunch sponsor for the ski club/council leaders attending the Group Exchange. Includes a welcome and featured presentation by the sponsor and plated lunch. Sponsor will be provided with complete contact information for all attending ski club/council leaders. Food & beverage, AV, meeting room rental, MTS labor and administrative allocation, and the sponsorship fee are included.

Group Exchange Group Leader Booth Literature and Gift Drops
Your opportunity to ensure 120 +/- group leaders get your message. It could be a goodie, gift or product/promotional literature (to be provided by company). Delivered to booths prior to the start of the Group Exchange or during the lunch break. Exclusive opportunity for one company.
Pricing: $1,000 USD.
Group Exchange Attendee Bags - Literature Inclusion

A LA CARTE
Private "Invitation Only" Functions
Target a select group of MTS attendees (tour operators, group leaders, or suppliers) and host a private function (breakfast, luncheon or cocktail reception). MTS will provide comprehensive event and meeting planning services.
Pricing: $1,000 - $4,000 USD administrative fee, plus actual cost of the hosted function (room rental, food & beverage, AV, etc.). Value priced, multi-year agreements are available.
Gift Room Drops
Impact more than 600 attendees of the Trade Exchange with your latest brochures, product offerings, or promotion offerings. A maximum of 5 companies share a bag hung on the door to each hotel room.
Pricing: $1,000 USD, plus hotel room drop fee. Gifts must be provided by company at company's expense.
MTS Mobile Application
Be a sponsor of MTS’s mobile application. Application for iPhone and Blackberry will be available to attendees for download before and during the event. Attendees will use the application to obtain important information on the week’s events. Sponsor will have logo and direct link to their website.

Promotional Items
MTS offers a wide variety including of opportunities to include your exposure at the event. These include: lanyards, name badges, note pads and pens, reusable sports bottles, water hydration stations, seat back covers and many more.
