Robert Stackpole is the Director for Travel & Tourism with the U.S. Department of Commerce– U.S. Foreign & Commercial Service. The U.S. Commercial Service is the trade and investment division of the U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration which supports U.S. companies and destinations in increasing business to global markets. Through its network of trade professionals in 128 commercial offices located in U.S. Embassies and Consulates in more than 75 countries and offices throughout the United States the Commercial Service has a global reach. Mr. Stackpole is a certified global business professional and has over 200 hours of training in international trade counseling. Robert joined the US Department of Commerce in 2008 and has over 15 years of extensive experience and education related to international trade in both the public and private sector. Robert is a native of New Orleans and currently resides in Birmingham, Alabama but his days as a raft guide and ski bum in Summit County Colorado are his fondest memories.
