With more than 20 years of experience in marketing, sales, public relations, and events for the Colorado mountain resort industry, Scott serves as the Director of Marketing for Breckenridge Tourism Office, (BTO) the destination marketing organization for Breckenridge, CO.
His holistic approach to supporting the Breckenridge brand has led to the design and implementation of innovative campaigns. Scott and the BTO marketing team have been recognized for their work on social media initiative#BreckBecause project, which won numerous regional and national awards, including a Creative Media Award for Performance Media & Marketing by MediaPost.
Prior to joining the BTO Scott was principal at F2 Inc. (a resort real estate development and marketing consulting firm), Director of Marketing for Durango Mountain Resort, and Director of Marketing for Loveland Ski Area. He’s also worked in marketing and public relations at Copper Mountain Resort, as well as events at Breckenridge Ski Corporation.
