What is the dress code? Casual. No
ski boots. Well, maybe.
How many sets of appointments can I
receive at the Trade Exchange?
Suppliers receive one set of
appointments per company or organization.
Tour operators may receive additional sets
of appointments for an additional fee.
How many people from my company can
attend the Trade Exchange?
As many as you wish. Each individual must be
registered to attend the Trade Exchange.
Suppliers still will receive a single set of
appointments per company.
Is there a discount for sending
additional people?
MTS has an aggressive team discount.
It’s offered when two or more people from a
company purchase any of the packages, (i.e.,
two or more of the program components). The
discount varies depending on the number of
people attending as well as the package
purchased.
How do I request appointments?
Through the MTS online Trade Exchange
Directory. Each participating company
submits a list of appointment requests. You
will be able to search and review company
profiles posted for the purpose of selecting
appointment requests. Then, simply submit
your list. ALL requests must be submitted
prior to the appointment request submission
deadline to be included in the
pre-scheduling of appointments.
What is the appointment scheduling
process? Scheduling is done
based on 1) buyer requests and, 2) supplier
requests. You will be able to log into
Profiles & Appointments to see the list
of companies with whom you will be meeting.
What is Direct Scheduling? Direct
Scheduling begins once you have logged into
Profiles & Appointments. This is your first
opportunity to add to your pre-scheduled
appointments. MTS provides you with the
ability to contact attendees and request
additional appointments. Simple. Easy. More
appointments are better.
What is Open Scheduling? On-site,
Sunday evening, April 7, a block of time is
set aside for you to add appointments to
your existing schedules. Open Scheduling is
a way for both buyers and suppliers to seek
out companies they want to meet with but
with whom they do not yet have appointments.
Attendees also can reschedule any existing
appointments at that time.
Do suppliers set up a booth? No.
Buyers will be seated and the suppliers will
rotate around to their appointments.
