Brian Schwartz serves as Expedia Inc.’s Vice President, Global Partner Marketing since April 2016. Schwartz manages the teams responsible for brand, e-mail, social and trade marketing, marketing operations, industry relations and an internal creative agency for Expedia’s Lodging Partner Services. Schwartz and his team are charged with enhancing relationships between Expedia Inc. and its 307,000 hotel partners in more than 70 countries worldwide.

Prior to Expedia, Schwartz spent five years at DreamWorks Animation overseeing marketing partnerships, licensing, consumer products and retail marketing in various regions and territories across the world. Schwartz most recently served as Head of Global Licensing Partnerships leading a new division from $0 in revenue to revenue forecasted at $1.2B in retail sales, which equated to $60MM in earned royalties to DreamWorks Animation over 4 years. Schwartz was also featured on season 2, episode 7 of ABC’s Beyond the Tank for a partnership he established with Shark Tank’s Robert Herjavec and his portfolio company Happy Feet.

Schwartz started his career in corporate development, marketing and sales functions for a venturecapital backed digital media company and pursued his entrepreneurial dream by co-founding a successful web technology start-up.

Schwartz received his Masters of Science in Finance from the London School of Economics and his Bachelors of Arts in Political Science from Indiana University. He is an active member of the CMO club and serves on the executive advisory board for the Center for Sales and Marketing Strategy at University of Washington’s Foster School of Business.

When not traveling the globe for business and leisure, Schwartz enjoys spending time with his wife and dog, avidly supporting Detroit sports teams and being outside hiking, golfing and exploring new places.
