the 10th edition of the international report on snow & mountain tourism
call for contributions to the crowdfunding campaign
This report, produced by Laurent Vanat, a friend of MTS, is the most extensive research study of ski destinations in the world.
The report provides a worldwide perspective on the stage of development and economic impact of the ski industry on almost every country on the planet. Over 65 countries representing over 100% of the total inbound ski market is covered. This report is the industry reference and reports data about the outbound skier markets (where are the skiers coming from) and the inbound skier markets (where do the skiers ski).
The primary data is based on skier visits, and also includes national participation rate, # of lifts and ski areas, skier visits as a ratio of population and much more. Check out the 2017 issue here.
The report is provided to the industry annually FREE OF CHARGE for online download. All funding is provided as part of a CROWDFUNDING campaign.
