Giancarlo presents a partnership from Italy, Skirama Dolomiti. One pass, 8 resorts, 150 lifts, 380 KM of slopes. Listen and learn about how to create local partnerships to make your destination more appealing to locals, regional skiers and global skiers.
Nick Sargent, President, SIA
A little more than one year into his role leading the Snowsports Industries America, Nick is already having significant influence on the industry. His themes start with trust, participation and community. During these challenging times for the mountain travel industry, it is critical that we all come together, as Nick says “not one astronaut made it to the moon alone, but with a team we can land a space ship”. Hear more from Nick during his MTS Talk and check out his Speaker Spotlight.
Gather ‘round the bar and share insights from the first three MTS Talks. We’re just getting warmed up!
Michelle Good, Founder, MTBparks
Michelle is about as passionate about mountain biking as it gets. She travels around the country in her RV from resort to resort building her business, MTBparks, an annual pass providing one free day of lift served mountain biking at dozens of resorts across North America. Michelle’s MTS Talk focuses on the importance of summer and how mountain biking is a driving force for visitation to your destinations.
Steve Nilsen, Stix L.L.C.
Raise your hand if PBR was your beverage of choice during High School and College. Steve’s role has been to continue the cult status of PBR with mountain communities across the continent. His MTS Talk features lessons on using non-traditional techniques to reach your audience, and he’s the best. Steve went from the “penthouse to the poor house” when he switched from working for Red Bull to PBR, but that has forced him to be even more creative. Steve then started his own company, Stix L.L.C: A Consultancy.
Bruce Kirkby, Acclaimed Explorer, Writer, Photographer
Our MTS Talk finale is presented by someone we all might aspire to be “when we grow up”. Bruce’s adventures have taken him to more than 80 countries and provided him with a unique perspective that he loves to share. From Everest to Arabia and Ethiopia to the Arctic, Bruce’s expeditions have provided him with a wealth of knowledge and insight to share during his MTS Talk.
