What/Who is a supplier?

Trade Exchange: Major resorts, hotels, lodging properties, ski companies, car rental firms, ground transportation providers, equipment rental companies, activity operators, property management groups, travel insurance, tourism bureaus, and others who sell vacation products

Group Exchange: Tour wholesalers, hotels, lodging properties, ski companies, car rentals, ground transportation providers, ski/board rental companies, activity operators, property management groups, travel insurance, tourism bureaus, as well as other sellers of mountain vacation products

What/Who is a buyer?

Trade Exchange: Tour operators from 30+ countries, online travel agencies

Group Exchange: Decision-makers from top ski clubs and councils in North America as well as other active groups planning ski trips. 

Who participates in the Mountain Marketplace?

Mountain Marketplace is designed for companies interested in meeting with both buyers and suppliers of the Trade Exchange. 

What do I need to complete my registration?

Determine which package you would like to purchase, have your credit card handy and follow the prompts from the registration system. Register here

What are the registration deadlines?

You can register for MTS at any point. Register early for the best available rate and to take advantage of our full appointment requesting process which begins in early February. 

What happens if I have to cancel / What do I do?

Cancellations received on or before January 31, 2020 are subject to a $250 administrative fee. Any cancellations received after this date will result in forfeiture of amount paid. 

What is the deadline for completing my profile?

You can begin crafting your profile on February 10th. We suggest you complete your profile prior to the appointment system opening on March 9th. For more details, click here

What is the deadline for scheduling my appointments?

Appointments can be scheduled starting March 9th. Appointments can be scheduled leading up to and during the event.

Event Logistics

Where do the events take place?

MTS functions (the Exchanges and the Forum) will take place at the Resort at Squaw Creek. Some evening receptions may take place off site. To learn more about the events at the conference visit the Schedule page.

Where will the Exchanges be held?

The Exchanges will be held at the Resort at Squaw Creek.

Who is seated in the booth during the Exchanges?

Buyers are seated and suppliers move around the room.

Six Peaks Grille

 Sandy's Pub

Sandy’s Pub is a mountainside eatery. Whether you're looking for a burger, hearty fare after a day outside, or a fresh green salad topped with salmon, Sandy's has got you covered. Along with 12 beers on tap and a ski-themed, comfortable atmosphere, Sandy's is the best place in Squaw Valley to watch a game or laugh with friends.

Sweet Potatoes Coffee and Café

Sweet Potatoes Coffee and Café is a cozy coffeehouse, cheerful marketplace, and patisserie. Sweet Potatoes offers guests a great selection of Starbucks coffee, pastries, soups, sandwiches, and pizza all day, everyday.

Travel Logistics

How far away is Squaw Valley from the Reno International Airport?

Squaw Valley is less than an hour drive from the Reno International Airport. Times vary with traffic and road conditions. Check out the travel section for more information about getting to Squaw Valley.

 Where is lodging being provided?
MTS is pleased to offer three lodging options: The Resort at Squaw Creek, the Village at Squaw Valley and the Squaw Valley Lodge. Pricing and reservation information can be found on our Lodging page.  The Village at Squaw Valley and Squaw Valley Lodge are a 10 to 15-minute shuttle ride to the Resort at Squaw Creek, our host hotel.

Is there parking at the hotel(s)?

Yes. The Resort at Squaw Creek offers complimentary self-parking and valet is available for $50 per night. The Village at Squaw Valley offers complimentary heated underground parking. Squaw Valley Lodge parking is also complimentary.

Is there any discount on airline tickets available?

Yes, United Airlines is our official airline partner. For more information regarding flight discounts check out the Air Transportation page.

Are there complimentary lift tickets available this year?

Yes, Squaw Valley Resort will be offering a complimentary lift pass for the week to all registered attendees.  Should anyone find time to ski more than 7 days, additional day tickets can be acquired at the registration desk. The ticket will also be valid at the Alpine Meadows as well. Lift tickets can be picked up near the MTS registration desk located just off the lobby at the Resort at Squaw Creek starting on Saturday, March 28, 2020. Check back closer to the event for specific hours.
