What/Who is a supplier?
Trade Exchange: Major resorts, hotels, lodging properties, ski companies, car rental firms, ground transportation providers, equipment rental companies, activity operators, property management groups, travel insurance, tourism bureaus, and others who sell vacation products
Group Exchange: Tour wholesalers, hotels, lodging properties, ski companies, car rentals, ground transportation providers, ski/board rental companies, activity operators, property management groups, travel insurance, tourism bureaus, as well as other sellers of mountain vacation products
Meetings Exchange: Those in corporate sales for a resort property, airline, ski area, DMO, CVB, rental equipment company, transfer company, or travel insurance provider

Trade Exchange: Tour operators from 30+ countries, online travel agencies
Group Exchange: Decision-makers from top ski clubs and councils in North America as well as other active groups planning ski trips.

Who participates in the Mountain Marketplace?
Mountain Marketplace is designed for companies interested in meeting with both buyers and suppliers of the Trade Exchange.
What do I need to complete my registration?
Determine which package you would like to purchase, have your credit card handy and follow the prompts from the registration system. Register here.
What are the registration deadlines?
You can register for MTS at any point. Register early for the best available rate and to take advantage of our full appointment requesting process which begins in early February.
What happens if I have to cancel / What do I do?
Cancellations received on or before January 31, 2018 are subject to a $250 administrative fee. Any cancellations received after this date will result in forfeiture of amount paid.
What is the deadline for completing my profile?
You can begin crafting your profile on February 1st. We suggest you complete your profile prior to requests opening to buyers on February 26th. For more details, click here.
What is the deadline for scheduling my TE, GE, ME appointments?
Appointments can be scheduled starting February 26th for buyers and March 5th for suppliers. Appointments can be scheduled leading up to and during the event.
Where do the events take place?
MTS functions (all three Exchanges and the Forum) will take place at Harrah's Lake Tahoe. The Destinations@MTS will take place at the Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel which is located next door to Harrah's Lake Tahoe, just a 5 minute walk from the conference level of Harrah's. Harrah's 2nd level in the Sand Harbor Ballroom.
Who is seated in the booth during the Exchanges?
Buyers are seated and suppliers move around the room.

Casual. Long considered the best Lake Tahoe buffet, the Forest Buffet at Harrah’s Lake Tahoe takes an already great dining experience to an even higher level of excellence on the 18th floor, with amazing views and mouth-watering specialties served at brunch and dinner. Open for dinner nightly and for brunch on Saturday & Sunday.
Friday's Station Steak & Seafood Grill
Upscale. Located on the top floor of Harrah’s hotel tower, Friday’s Station features include a dramatic entrance, a 1,000-bottle display wine cellar and magnificent views from every table. Open nightly for dinner. Open for lunch on Monday, April 9th and Tuesday, April 10th. For a reservation contact the hotel concierge desk.
Upscale. Sushi Kai is an enticing sushi bar offering a classic sushi selection and specialties, along with a diverse selection of sake, beer and cocktails. Open for dinner Friday-Tuesday.
Looking for a quick bite? The food court is open for lunch and dinner daily and features: Fatburger, Thia Asian and Tahoe Italian Kitchen.

For the ultimate casual dining Lake Tahoe restaurant experience, be sure to visit the Cabo Wabo Cantina on your next visit to Harvey’s Lake Tahoe. Sammy Hagar’s popular hotspot offers a variety of appetizers and delectable, authentic Mexican and southwestern entrées such as fish tacos, chicken tamales and fajitas. Be sure to complete your visit to the Red Rocker’s cantina by sampling one of the many specialty drinks made with Sammy Hagar’s signature Beach Bar Rum. STRAW HAT SPORTS BAR & GRILLE
Taste California’s famous Straw Hat pizza at Harvey’s Lake Tahoe at the Straw Hat Sports Bar & Grille, a real sports bar loved by locals and Lake Tahoe visitors alike. Straw Hat features 20 HDTVs, sports memorabilia and 12 draft beers. The menu at this Lake Tahoe casual dining restaurant includes pastas, pizzas, garlic parmesan groovy twists, chicken wings hand tossed in your favorite sauce, sandwiches, fresh-cut French fries and more, all made to order. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily.
HARD ROCK CAFÉ
The Hard Rock Café located inside Harvey’s is a casual dining Lake Tahoe restaurant where we'll treat you like a rock star. Our Alpine ski lodge decor makes you feel right at home if you're ready to relax, but if gaming the night away is more your style, our triangular bar in the restaurant's center features 18 video poker machines where you can hit a royal flush and live it up in true rock star style. Open for lunch and dinner. Reservations not accepted.
What dining options are available at the Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel?
Echo restaurant and lounge offers California casual cuisine. The perfect atmosphere to watch the game, have a few appetizers, enjoy a craft sandwich for lunch, or a fresh, seasonal dinner. The menu includes everything from burgers and pasta, to pork Ossobucco. Chef Sal strives to offer locally grown vegetables and meats. Open for lunch and dinner. How far away is South Lake Tahoe from the Reno International Airport?
South Lake Tahoe is just an hour drive from the Reno International Airport. Times vary with traffic and road conditions. Check out the Travel section for more information about getting to South Lake Tahoe.
Where is lodging being provided?
MTS is pleased to offer two lodging options which are located directly beside each other: Harrah’s Lake Tahoe and the Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel, an all-suite property. Pricing and reservation information can be found on our Lodging page.
Is there parking at the hotel?
Overnight parking at Harrah’s is currently complimentary. We have been informed that maybe changing in the near future. Please ask when booking your reservation for the current rate.
Is there any discount on airline tickets available?
Yes, United Airlines is our official airline partner. For more information regarding flight discounts check out the Air Transportation page.
Are there complimentary lift tickets available this year?
Yes, Heavenly Ski Resort will be offering a complimentary lift pass for the week to all registered attendees. Should anyone find time to ski more than 7 days, additional day tickets can be acquired at the registration desk. The ticket will also be valid at the Kirkwood Resort. Lift tickets can be picked up near the MTS registration desk located on the second floor of Harrah’s starting on April 7, 2018. Check back closer to the event for specific hours.
Are there rental discounts?
